SUPCON Brings a Practical Path from AI to Autonomous Operations to ADIPEC 2026

    October 13, 2026

ABU DHABI, UAE, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As the energy industry looks to apply artificial intelligence to real-world operations, the challenge is connecting AI with the data, control systems and instruments already operating in a plant.

At ADIPEC 2026, taking place from 2–5 November at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, SUPCON will showcase its Autonomous Operating Plant (AOP) approach under the theme “Bridging Sensing to Autonomy”. The approach connects sensing, analysis, control and optimisation to support the transition towards smarter and more autonomous operations.

At the AI Zone, SUPCON will demonstrate technologies supporting this AOP journey, including its Universal Control System (UCS), Hobre TISOMIC, Time-series Pre-trained Transformer (TPT) industrial AI solutions and an explosion-proof robot.

Each technology serves a distinct role. UCS provides the control foundation, while TPT analyses operational data to support smarter decision-making. Hobre TISOMIC enables gas sensing and analysis, and SUPCON’s explosion-proof robot demonstrates the application of robotics in industrial environments. Together, these technologies illustrate how data, AI, control and robotics can work together to support industrial operations.

SUPCON’s AOP approach focuses on building autonomy progressively, rather than requiring plants to replace existing systems. By building on established control infrastructure, operational data and industrial knowledge, operators can introduce AI and autonomous capabilities where they deliver practical value.

This approach supports key industry priorities, including operational efficiency, asset optimisation, process safety and informed decision-making, while providing a pathway towards increasingly connected and autonomous operations.

“AI’s value lies not only in what the technology can do, but in how effectively it can be applied in real industrial environments,” said Kenneth Lim, Strategy & Marketing Director, SUPCON International Business Pte. Ltd. “Our AOP approach connects sensing, analysis, control and optimisation to bring AI closer to day-to-day industrial operations and support the journey towards greater autonomy.”

Visitors can explore SUPCON’s AOP concept and technology portfolio at AI Zone, Booth AI_S9 in ADIPEC 2026.
